MELINDO AND ESTRADA MAKE WEIGHT FOR WBO/WBA TITLE BOUT
MACAU - Milan 'El Metodico' Melindo will have his date with destiny this Saturday when he challenges Juan Francisco 'El Gallo' Estrada of Mexico for the WBO/WBA flyweight title belts. Estrada and Melindo both weighed in an identical 111.6 lbs during the official weigh-in held this afternoon at the Cotai Arena.
Estrada will be riding on the momentum of his stunning win over Brian Viloria at the same venue last April. Melindo will carry the hopes of a country looking for a new hero after the successive losses of Manny Pacquiao, Nonito Donaire and Viloria.
FISTS OF GOLD II will be headlined by China's two time Olympic gold medal winner Zou Shiming, who will have his second pro outing against Jesus Ortega of Mexico. Zou weighed in at 111.4 lbs while Ortega was at 111.6 lbs.

The other world title on the line will be the IBF featherweight belt held by Evgeny Gradovich (125.75lbs) of Russia and challenging for the title is Maurico Muñoz (125.75lbs) of Argentina.

Hong Kong's Rex Tso (116.4) and Thai Rusalee Samor (116.4) will clash in a six rounder.
